LIVING LIST - July

Here’s a roundup of 6 things that I’ve been loving this past month!

  1. NEO TAROT CARDS - Jerico Mandybur. I completed a tarot training recently so treated myself to a new deck of cards and I am obsessed!! Tarot imagery can sometimes feel quite dark or too mystical and ‘witchy’ and it often puts people off. Whilst i’m down for some witchy vibes most of the time, having such a beautifully illustrated deck makes pulling a card daily of doing regular spread seem feel like much more a uplifting ritual. Get them here.

  2. HEY GIRL PODCAST. Recently I, as hopefully most of us have, have been working on diversifying the content I consume so as to expand my knowledge outside of my white privilege bubble. In doing so I came across Alex Elle’s podcast, Hey Girl, and i am loving it. Full of inspiring stories of everything from body positivity and mental health, to shamanic healers and Ayurvedic medicine. This is also a great place to be introduced to more BIPOC wellness educators and healers.

  3. INSIGHT TIMER - TEACHERS OF COLOUR PLAYLIST. Insight timer is my favourite guided mediation app, and recently they have put together a list of BIPOC meditations and practices and I have been introduced to some amazing new teachers on this list. It is also a great way to support BIPOC teachers, as although the app itself is free, it gives you the option of donating as a way of gratitude for the practice.

  4. KINDA CO. I was lucky enough to receive a box of goodies from Kinda Co this month and I can’t recommend their vegan cheese enough! The nacho cheese is a must for any of you vegan Mexican food fans!

  5. TREW HEALTH HEALTH COMMUNITY. The amazing Sophie of Trewfields festival which is an amazing holistic health festival that is usually held IRL every year, but this year it has been moved online. The taster series of Trew Health was amazing and Sophie has now launched and online membership for anyone needing holistic health support.

  6. BECOMING NOBODY. I have rewatched this documentary for a second time this month, and I think it is set to become one of those films I will come back to in times of need. Ram Dass has been a big teacher and leader for me over the past few years and this documentary is such a beautiful collection of his most inspiring teaching and speeches, and a great insight into his journey with spirituality. He has such a beautiful way of looking at life and death that is really helpful in shifting perspective.
