LIVING LIST - October

6 things I’ve been loving this past month!

1. RADICAL HOPE - For anyone faced with cancer, or even those without, Radical Remission by Kelly Turner is a life changing book, and one I have read multiple times over the past few years. Well now there is an update. A sequel with even more stories of hope and positivity and educational information about how to keep yourself well holistically. Based on the same principle as the first, regardless of if you have a current condition you are healing, this is a book full of goodness and I know I will be reading it many more times!

2. OMGMATCHA - Matcha is a daily staple in my diet. It is FULL of antioxidants, more than 15 times, per gram, of blueberries. It has also been used for over 800 years by zen buddhists to support their meditation practice and relax their mind as it contains L-Theanine which is known to release serotonin and dopamine. But, it is super important to get a high quality matcha, grown traditionally as ceremonial grade matcha to reap all the benefits. OMGMATCHA is my all time favourite!

3. COSMIC CURES NEWSLETTERS - If you are like me and your like a bit of celestial navigation to frame your week then Bex at Cosmic Cures newsletters are for you! The depth and exploration she offers weekly, planet situations, best days to do certain task, and loads of other ritual goodness, is such a support to planning out my week.

4. LIVE AWAKE - Sarah Blondin’s meditations are my go to whenever I need to drop and check in. They are a beautiful mixture of insightful narration and meditation and are guaranteed to support you on your meditation journey. I know a lot of people feel overwhelmed with the idea of meditation, but Sarah’s practices, which are also each small podcast episodes are such a gentle way to ease into a practice if you don’t have one, and equally for hardened meditators it is a great practices to drop in to when you feel the need for a bit more support or mind expansion.

6. FIX 8 KOMBUCHA - I drink kombucha regularly. It might just be my favourite forms of probiotic, which is something in include in my diet daily. There are some great ones and some better ones - and if you brew your own, more power to you - it was one step too ‘good' life’ than I was ready for. But I was lucky enough to win some Fix 8 kombucha a while ago and i’ve been hooked ever since. The flavours are so beautifully considered and the taste it spot on! Kombucha is more than a refreshing drink to me, it is a medicine, and so I love to know its been brewed with love and intention, which you can tell this is.

6. OSMIA SOAP - Many of you won’t know this, but this time last year I was suffering with a really bad skin condition called personal dermatitis. It was so bad i couldn’t leave the house because the wind would burn my face, and talking too much hurt. It is something I will chat about in more detail soon as now I think i’m tamed it for good, but it was only with the support of Osmia clay soap. I only use natural product on my skin, and have done for many years, but this is natural on a whole new level. Made with Black Australian clay and Dead Sea with, organic almond, avocado, castor bean oils and coconut milk, to balance, conditions, and nourish the skin - it has been a SKINSAVER for me! It’s also really affordable, and totally worth the shipping cost to the UK.
